We are a small family business based out of Pennsylvania. Our journey with the Double Dog Run began in 2011 when our two dogs were constantly tangled and no ground anchor could last more than a couple days. Frustrated, Kim Wherley the inventor sat down and thought about how the dogs could keep their cables from tangling and how she could possibly find something to keep both dogs secure.

After a day or two of thinking on how to design the tie out stake for security and how to keep the dogs tangle-free, a prototype was built with some wood and cheap dollar tree materials. After a few month's Wherley was encouraged to patent the product and create a two dog tie out that could be shipped and used by the masses.

Wherley, with the help of her wife Rebecca Wherley and family the Double Dog Run has become the awesome dog tie out stake system it is today!
